You nailed the insecurity and feelings when a person finds themselves in a relationship that they want to work, but ultimately know that it is doomed. This story brought back an old relationship memory for me. I caught myself drifting off and wondering what has happened to her, who she ended up with, and what could have been. All the unanswered questions that many of us ask from to time when reminded of a memory. I loved the story and humanity of the emotions. Keep up the good work.
